Monday: begin discussion on WWI.  Video and 10 facts

Tuesday: Powerpoint presentation on WWI, students will take notes

Wednesday: Vocabulary and worksheet

Thursday: finish powerpoint and notes on WWI, video clip on the sinking of the Lusitania

Friday: media center visit  (students wear their new Renaissance shirt today)

Monday:  Read World War play together

Tuesday: Textbook reading and notetaking on WWII

Wednesday: Read WWI stories together

Thursday: Questions from WWI stories

Friday: Field Trip and Faculty vs student football game

Week of 11/2-11/6

Monday:   WWI Early and Later Stages of War; questions

Tuesday: WWI The Great Campaign video and discussion questions

Wednesday: Europe Map

Thursday: WWI timeline activity and crossword

Friday: Media center visit; weekly reader

Week of 11/9-11/13

Monday:   Complete WWI Study Guide

Tuesday:  Begin WWII discussion and video clips

Wednesday: Benchmark Assessment for social studies

Thursday: WWI Test

Friday: 1/2 day for students, writing prompt, Latitude and Longitude

 Week of 11/16-11/20

Monday:   WWII video clips and 10 facts

Tuesday:  Notes on WWII in spiral notebook

Wednesday: Awards day for students.  They may bring their ipods, video games, board games etc.  (NO CELL PHONES) There will also be a free movie and dance during the school day.

Thursday:  Our team will go across the street to see the play Cinderella at 9:00 am. Cost is $3  Finish notes from Tuesday WWII

Friday    Media center visit and Weekly Reader

Monday:   Renaissance Field Trip for 6th grade (RAVE and Hamilton Place Mall Food Court)
